Short version: this is my personal portfolio. Read it, share it, quote it with credit. Do not copy it wholesale, attack it, or treat anything on it as professional advice you can rely on without talking to me first.

These terms govern your use of jorgealejandrodiez.com (the “site”), operated by Jorge Alejandro Diez as an individual (“I”, “me”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

The site is a personal portfolio and writing archive. It describes work I have done and services I offer. Nothing on it is an offer to enter a contract, and nothing on it is professional, legal, financial, or engineering advice for your specific situation.

Case studies, figures, and worked examples — including any cost or return calculations shown in presentations on this site — are illustrative. They describe what has been achieved or what is plausible in a given scenario. They are not a forecast or a guarantee of any result for you. Any actual engagement is governed by a separate written agreement, not by this page.

2. Intellectual property

The written content, images, designs, and code presented on the site are mine or used with permission, except where a third party is credited. Third-party names and logos shown — including former employers and clients — remain the property of their respective owners and appear to describe work, not to imply endorsement.

You may:

• read, link to, and share pages;
• quote short extracts with attribution and a link back.

You may not, without asking first:

• republish substantial portions as your own;
• sell or license the content;
• systematically scrape the site, including for the purpose of training a model.

11. Changes to these terms

These terms may change. The “last updated” date at the top will change with them, and continuing to use the site after that means you accept the revised version.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in Travis County, Texas will have jurisdiction, except where the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
